Happy New Year!
I would like to share with you a DIY holiday wreath tutorial that was recently featured on Once Wed.
I created the wreath using greenery that I foraged from my in-laws property in the mountains. When we see it in our home, it reminds us of our time visiting them over the holidays.
What you will need:
Blue Spruce Clippings
20 Inch Box Wire Wreath Frame
Floral Design Wire
Hot Glue Gun
1. First, gather the materials. I used scissors to clip greenery from several different blue spruce trees. I pulled a little bit from the bottom of a few different trees to avoid harming the tree.
2. Arrange the blue spruce clippings around the wreath frame, until you have no blank spaces remaining.
3. Use a mix of floral tap and wire to attach the clippings to the frame.
4. Tie a bow and hot glue it to the bottom of the wreath. I also hot glued some pine cones that I pulled from the trees.
My wreath has lasted over 3 weeks and it is still going strong. If you made your own holiday wreaths, I would love to see! Please post links in comment section below.
