Happy Valentine’s

Below is a special Valentine’s engagement shoot, featuring two people I love!  My sister and my future brother-in-law.  Erin and Andy.  We headed up to Steamboat Springs one snowy weekend for a romantic horse drawn carriage ride.  The shoot took place just outside of Steamboat Springs at the Hahn’s Peak Road House.  They have two beautiful (and huge) white horses that draw a wooden sleigh through the snow.  The perfect winter-getaway spot.

Kara + Jay : Colorado Springs Engagement Photography

Last weekend I headed down to Colorado Springs to Jay’s family cabin in the mountains. They chose that spot for their engagement photos because it has been a special get-away. And it was just perfect! I also love how Kara chose a few vintage pieces to wear in the engagement shoot too– these two definitely have style.

The 50 year old cabin is filled with fond memories and I loved documenting their engagement at such a sentimental place. Thanks Kara and Jay for inviting me and CONGRATULATIONS on such an exciting time in your lives. So happy for you!

Jenise + Max : Evergreen Engagement Photography

It’s hard to resist the holiday cheer this time of year.  White snow is falling softly outside and I am sipping some hot cocoa while sorting through images from my winter shoots.  Love how everyone is embracing this joyful time of year in their photographs.

Jenise and Max planned a fun engagement shoot outing at one of their first date locations– the quaint town of Evergreen.  Loving the holiday colors!  After spending sometime in the town, we set out to ice skate.  Here’s a quick peek from the first part of their session.  More to come soon!

P.S. Jenise works with Cori Cook as a florist– and Cori made the bouquet specially for Jenise and Max and their engagement!  Isn’t it perfect?!
